Terms of Use

Yuno is free to use. No account is required. You own everything you create with it. You may use your generated designs, font pairings, palettes, and exports commercially. We ask only that you do not misuse the service, scrape it, or try to break it. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use Yuno.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Yuno (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service. Relativity Studio (trading as Something Labs) reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Yuno is a browser-based design system toolkit. It allows users to generate font pairings, colour palettes, card component designs, and icon sets. Users can preview these outputs in contextual mockups and export them as CSS, JSON, SVG, or React/Svelte code.

Yuno does not require registration or account creation. All features are accessible without logging in. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Permitted Use

You may use Yuno for any lawful purpose, including personal projects, client work, and commercial products. Specifically, you are permitted to:

• Generate font pairings, colour palettes, card designs, and icon configurations
• Export generated outputs (CSS, JSON, SVG, React components, Svelte components) for use in your own projects
• Use exported outputs in personal, client, and commercial projects without restriction
• Share screenshots or previews of Yuno-generated designs
• Embed Yuno-generated code in your own applications, websites, and products

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use Yuno in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive. The following are expressly prohibited:

4.1 Technical misuse

• Scraping, crawling, or systematically downloading content or data from the Service by automated means
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or its databases
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Service
• Introducing malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Service
• Placing an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure
• Using the Service through any automated script, bot, or tool that mimics human interaction

4.2 Misrepresentation and fraud

• Representing Yuno or any of its outputs as your own original product or service in a way that misleads others
• Using the Service to create materials that impersonate another person, company, or brand
• Submitting false or misleading information through the feedback form

4.3 Harmful content

• Using the Service to produce, distribute, or promote content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes a third party's intellectual property rights
• Using exports from Yuno in products or services that violate applicable law

Font and Icon Licences

Yuno uses Google Fonts and open-source icon libraries (Lucide, Heroicons, Phosphor, Tabler). Each font and icon set is distributed under its own open-source licence (typically SIL OFL or MIT). When you export and use these assets, you are responsible for complying with the applicable licence terms. Yuno does not grant you any additional rights over third-party assets beyond what their licences permit.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 What Yuno owns

The Yuno name, logo, visual design, source code, algorithms (including the font pairing engine, colour generation logic, and scoring systems), documentation, and all other original content on the Service are owned by Relativity Studio and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service itself without our prior written permission.

5.2 What you own

You own the outputs you generate using Yuno. This includes font pairing configurations, colour palettes, exported CSS and JSON, SVG icons, and React or Svelte component code that you produce through the Service.

Yuno does not claim any ownership or licence over your generated outputs. You are free to use them in any project, commercial or otherwise, without crediting Yuno.

5.3 Third-party assets

Fonts served via Google Fonts are subject to the SIL Open Font Licence. Icon libraries used by Yuno (Lucide, Heroicons, Phosphor, Tabler) are distributed under MIT or similar open-source licences. These licences are permissive and allow commercial use.

Feedback and Submissions

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas through the Yuno feedback form, you grant Relativity Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and act on that feedback for the purpose of improving the Service. You retain ownership of the content of your message.

You must not submit any content through the feedback form that is confidential, proprietary, or subject to a third-party intellectual property claim.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relativity Studio disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of font pairing suggestions, colour outputs, or any other generated content.

Yuno's font pairing suggestions and colour palettes are generated algorithmically. They represent design recommendations, not professional design advice. You are responsible for evaluating their suitability for your own projects.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Relativity Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business, loss of data or outputs, costs of substitute services, and any claim arising from your use of Yuno's generated outputs in your own products.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may reference or link to third-party websites, tools, or services (such as Google Fonts, icon library repositories, or documentation). These links are provided for convenience only. Relativity Studio does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party service.

Termination and Suspension

Because Yuno does not require account creation, there is no account to suspend or terminate. However, we reserve the right to block access to the Service from specific IP addresses or networks if we have reasonable grounds to believe that access is being used in violation of these Terms, including but not limited to automated scraping or attacks on our infrastructure.

We may also take down or restrict specific features of the Service at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Relativity Studio is registered. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, we encourage you to contact us via the feedback form before pursuing formal legal action.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and post the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced where reasonably practicable.

Your continued use of Yuno after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
