Privacy Policy
Yuno does not require you to create an account. We do not sell your data. We collect only what you choose to give us (name, email, message) through our feedback form, anonymised traffic data via Google Analytics, and behavioural usage data via Statsig. Statsig also records session replays to help us understand how people use the product. Feedback data is deleted after one year. That is the whole picture.
1. Who We Are
Yuno is a design system toolkit built and operated by Relativity Studio (trading as Something Labs). Yuno allows designers and developers to generate font pairings, colour palettes, card designs, and icon sets for use in their own projects.
When this policy says "Yuno", "we", "us", or "our", it refers to Relativity Studio and the Yuno product. When it says "you" or "your", it refers to any person who visits or uses yuno.somethinglabs.io.
To contact us regarding privacy matters, email us at info@somethinglabs.io. We will respond within 30 days.
2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Data you give us directly
Yuno does not require you to create an account. The only personal data we collect is what you choose to submit through our feedback form. The form collects three fields:
- Name
- Email address
- Message
Submitting the form is entirely voluntary. You can use all features of Yuno without ever filling it in.
2.2 Data collected automatically (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Yuno. Google Analytics collects information about your visit automatically, including:
- Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
- The country and city you are visiting from (derived from IP address, not stored as a raw IP)
- The browser, device type, and operating system you are using
- How you arrived at Yuno (search engine, direct link, social media, etc.)
- Interactions such as button clicks and feature usage
This data is aggregated and anonymised. We cannot identify you personally from Google Analytics data. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
2.3 Data collected automatically (Statsig)
We use Statsig for product analytics, feature measurement, and session replay. Statsig collects the following data automatically when you use Yuno:
- Events you trigger — such as clicking a button, generating a font pairing, switching tabs, or opening a form
- The sequence and timing of those interactions within a session
- A pseudonymous user identifier assigned to your session
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- General geographic region (country level, derived from IP address)
Session replay. Statsig's session replay plugin records a reconstruction of your screen interactions — mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling — during your visit. This recording does not capture passwords, payment information, or any data you type into form fields. Replays are used solely to understand usability issues and improve the product experience.
Statsig data is linked to a pseudonymous session ID, not to your name or email address. We cannot identify you personally from Statsig data alone.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes only:
| Data | Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Feedback form (name, email, message) | Read and respond to your feedback. Improve the product based on user input. | Legitimate interest |
| Google Analytics data | Understand traffic patterns, feature usage, and where to focus product development. | Legitimate interest |
| Statsig event data | Measure which features are used, identify drop-off points, and guide product decisions. | Legitimate interest |
| Statsig session replays | Understand usability issues by reviewing recordings of how users interact with the interface. | Legitimate interest |
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose not listed above.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
We do not keep data longer than necessary.
| Data | Retention period | What happens after |
|---|---|---|
| Feedback form submissions | 12 months from the date of submission | Permanently deleted from our database |
| Google Analytics data | 14 months (Google's default retention setting) | Automatically deleted by Google |
| Statsig event data | 90 days | Automatically deleted by Statsig |
| Statsig session replays | 30 days | Automatically deleted by Statsig |
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We share data only with the service providers listed below, and only to the extent necessary to operate Yuno.
| Provider | What they receive | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Anonymised usage and traffic data | Product analytics and traffic measurement |
| Statsig | Pseudonymous event data and session replay recordings | Product analytics, feature measurement, and usability research |
| Supabase | Feedback form submissions (name, email, message) | Database hosting for feedback data |
Google, Statsig, and Supabase are processors under GDPR — they handle data only on our instructions and are contractually bound to protect it. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Yuno uses cookies and local storage set by Google Analytics and Statsig to track visits and usage patterns. These are analytics cookies — they do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.
Google Analytics cookies
- _ga — distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<id> — stores session state. Expires after 2 years.
Statsig storage
Statsig stores a pseudonymous session identifier in your browser's local storage to associate events within a session. This identifier is not linked to your name or email address. It is used only to group interactions within a single visit and to support session replay functionality.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can block or delete cookies and local storage data through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use any feature of Yuno.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights over the personal data we hold about you. These rights apply to feedback form submissions. Google Analytics and Statsig data is pseudonymous or anonymised and cannot be reliably linked back to you personally.
- Right of access — you can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data before the retention period expires.
- Right to restriction — you can ask us to stop processing your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Right to object — you can object to our processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to data portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@somethinglabs.io with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days and do not charge a fee for these requests.
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom and believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data Security
Feedback form submissions are stored in Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and enforces access controls on all tables. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to Yuno team members on a need-to-know basis.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by applicable law.
9. International Data Transfers
Supabase, Google, and Statsig may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards are in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR) to ensure your data receives the same level of protection as it would within the European Economic Area.
10. Children's Privacy
Yuno is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through our feedback form, contact us at info@somethinglabs.io and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and post the revised policy. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
Your continued use of Yuno after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
